I love what I see
When I look at me
From beginning to end
I love what I see
What a lovely body
Someone did send
I love to see
Reality
Smiling back at me

About the poem:
For the longest time, I thought the drill was this: you look in the mirror, find fault and feel dejected. How backasswards was that!!
I like that mirrors show that I have been given the gift of a body for awhile. And that if I am worrying, it’s plain to see. I can change that in a jiffy, by feeling grateful. Which brings out the smile in the mirror, which brings out more gratitude and smiles.
Isn’t it strange how few people love the mirror, that simply reflects back the truth of the miracle of a moment?
